Position Summary
EPATT is seeking a dynamic and well-rounded Tennis Program Coordinator who not only brings passion for tennis, but also has a broader athletic background, a creative eye for marketing, and the ability to lead program operations with energy and precision. This role blends coaching, program leadership, and coordination responsibilities. While the primary focus will be leading and enhancing tennis programming at the EPATT campus, the role also plays a key part in supporting our external site at Costano Elementary. The ideal candidate will work closely with EPATT’s Community Coordinator to ensure programming at Costano is precise, aligned, and consistently excellent. They will also supervise tennis staff and manage volunteers both on and off the court to maintain high-quality instruction and a safe, inclusive environment. This person will help grow participation, improve program quality, and strengthen community visibility across both sites. We’re looking for someone who is a cheerleader for youth sports, an enthusiastic team player, and a strong communicator who thrives on building relationships—with students, families, and colleagues alike
What Success Looks Like in This Role
● Consistent, High-Energy Tennis Sessions: Students across all age and skill levels are actively engaged in well-structured, developmentally appropriate tennis practices that build confidence, skills, and sportsmanship.
● Smooth Multi-Site Program Coordination: Tennis programming at both the EPATT campus and Costano School runs efficiently, with clear communication, accurate attendance tracking, and strong alignment with site partners and staff.
● Increased Program Visibility & Participation: Outreach materials, social media content, and community events generate higher enrollment and elevate EPATT’s profile as a hub for youth tennis and athletic development.
● Strong Family & School Engagement: Families feel informed and connected through regular communication, and school site staff view the coordinator as a reliable, collaborative partner who adds value to the school community.
● Team Collaboration & Cross-Program Integration: The tennis program is well-integrated with academic and enrichment efforts, contributing to a holistic student experience and aligning with EPATT’s broader mission.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coaching & Curriculum
● Provide high-energy tennis coaching for students of various ages and skill levels (in-school and after-school).
● Collaborate with coaches to develop and refine a progressive and fun curriculum grounded in movement, skill-building, and sportsmanship at both the EPATT Campus and our partner site Costano Elementary.
● Encourage participation and growth in other athletic activities—experience in non-traditional sports (e.g., Golf, Paddle Sports, Rugby, etc.) is a major plus.
● Create and maintain a physically and emotionally safe environment for all students during tennis programming, including enforcing safety protocols and proactively managing on-court behavior.
Program Coordination & Administration
● Collaborate with tennis coaches to ensure consistent program delivery, provide administrative support, and offer guidance on scheduling and upcoming projects, while maintaining a strong and supportive team environment.
● Train, onboard, and manage tennis volunteers to ensure they are well-prepared, understand their roles clearly, and uphold EPATT’s values on and off the court.
● Manage tennis program sign-ups, track attendance, and maintain an organized participant database.
● Assist in tracking student attendance, participation trends, and skill development metrics to inform program improvements and reporting.
● Develop, plan, and manage tournament logistics including student registration, brackets, and awards.
● Ensure courts and equipment are well maintained; lead setup and teardown systems.
● Lead communication efforts across sites to align schedules, staff, and student needs.
Marketing & Promotion
● Design and distribute eye-catching flyers, outreach materials, and social media content to grow program awareness and participation.
● Work with the EPATT team to implement creative strategies that celebrate student-athletes and highlight key events and accomplishments.
● Build local school and community partnerships to promote tennis and boost enrollment.
Family & Community Engagement
● Serve as the main point of contact for tennis-related parent communication, including scheduling, behavior, and student growth updates.
● Represent EPATT at school sites, tournaments, and community events.
● Build a strong culture of trust, positivity, and inclusivity with families and caregivers.
Cross-Department Collaboration
● Work closely with EPATT’s academic, enrichment, and administrative teams to create integrated and flexible programming.
● Participate in cross-departmental meetings to align program goals and improve student experience across all areas.

● Energetic and creative, with a passion for making sports accessible and exciting.
● A positive team player who thrives on collaboration and feedback.
● Strong communicator who builds trust with students and families.
